Do you all ever have periods of time where there's tons of things you wish you could buy, while others there's honestly nothing that's truly been catching your eye enough to "need" it? Recently, I've been identifying more with the latter. That doesn't mean there aren't a few very cute things that I wouldn't mind having. Also, with the fact that I still use my very first 2gb ipod nano, an ipod touch would be all sorts of useful!

For a great amount of time, I made a point to make my life completely devoid of the color pink. Anything blatantly girly really just killed me. Never would I have thought I would get to this point-- tea length pastel dresses and light pink ballet flats. Tell the high school me this and she would have likely told you you're full of it. And I would respond to my high school self, "get over yourself, you'll thank me later." 

I will also be thanking myself when these ankle boots show up on my doorstep. You will be mine.

Wishy List

I've been running into so many little things I would love to be able to get my hands on recently, definitely some more warmer weather pieces. Others are just some staples- black cone heels and ballerina flats. I've been on a mad search for some that actually look more like legitimate ballet slippers. I thought about getting actual ones, but wondered about the practicality of that.

The cafe colored dress actually has little horses on it, but is unfortunately not in stock!

 Here's just a few of the things that I'm madly adoring on my holidays wish list. Truly only a fraction of all the wonderful things out there I could wish for! It's always fun of course to receive, but I honestly look forward to finding gifts for others with hopes that they will genuinely love it. I know the search can be rather tedious and difficult when searching for the one thing that is "just right," so here's some great gifts for dad I came across at Brookstone.com. Gifts and bows aside though, I just love the feel of the holidays. Though we unfortunately don't get snow down her in southern California, I live right down the street from a mall, so the decorations they have surrounding it surely don't let me forget. Having just the right people around is what truly makes it all the more special.
