Without face

You know yesterday, how I mentioned I love clothes with stories. Well I'm starting to think it has a lot more to do with just "permanently borrowing" things from my grandma. This little cardigan with the pearl buttons- yup, it was hers when she was actually 15. She said it got passed around quite a bit amongst her sisters, and now I'm happy to say it skipped a generation and somehow ended up in my possession. Love it! And since I'm mentioning her so much, in case you hadn't seen it, a while back a posted a few old photographs of my grandma's on my blog. Check them out here if you like!
These feather earrings, they're love. I adore them. I picked them up during my adventures in Venice Beach with my friend, Cynthia, not too long ago.  If you're ever in SoCal, do make a point to check out Venice Beach. It's weird at first, but once it sinks in, you'll love it, even more for all its oddities.
These photos were taken Monday I believe? I decided to have no face that day apparently. It happens.
And oh hey, it's almost Friday! Cheers ♥

OMG girl. I love this entire outfit. The dress, the earrings, and the cardi with a story. I checked out the post about your grandma--she was (and still is, I'm sure) one stylish lady! But she's so young! My grandma was in her 30s in the 1960s!

hey girl, I just stumbled upon your blog and it seems similar to mine! Mine's kind of a hodge-podge of college life, too: fashion, photos, food, & randomness. I love the rustic feel of your photos, and your outfit choices :)

aw, how sweet that you've inherited that piece from your grandma! It's perfect. And yeah, Venice is full of weirdos but I guess thats its charm?

That dress is adorable! The print reminds me of a dress I had when I was younger.

Thank goodness for stylish grandmas who actually held on to their clothes! And I love the No Doubt poster in the back. Gwen Stefani = serious love!

My grandma gave me one of her old purses and if someone asks me about it I always tell them the story of where its from. I also want to comment on how fantastic your outfit is. You have inspired me to pull out a light legging for my upcoming trip

I love this dress! So fun for Spring. I had a sweater just like that growing up with pearl buttons. I wish I knew what happened to it.
