The dog days aren't quite over

I despise the fact that my hair does not photograph red. It looks outright brown. Oh, the nonsensical objects of my life.

I have a certain admiration toward Native American jewelry such as the double strand necklace I am wearing. It is always so authentic and beautiful all at once. Don't get me wrong, I love the glamorous look of dripping chains as much as the next girl, but these pieces just have so much character to me!
(shirt- F21, shorts-h&m, belt- michael kors, wedge sandals- dolce vita)

I can't help but fall for the versatility and perfection of a soft, oversized button up! When I came across this one I knew it should be a winning addition to my closet, not just workable for the fall- but all seasons, though preferably fall, since of course that is my favorite season. ♥
Oh, and I'm not sure if I've mentioned this recently, but I am back in the running game, my dears, and I need to stick with it this time! It honestly keeps me a bit more grounded when I'm at it. Inspiration and dedication- stay with me, please!
What is your favorite piece that you carry on through every season?
currently listening to: dog days- florence and the machines

I agree, I love Native American jewelry. I use to run also. But I now I much prefer a steady jog with my dogs.

Love that buttondown! And the title of your post :) As for running, you rock for actually doing it. I always make a resolution to work out/run and never end up doing it.

I LOVE this top!! ANd those sandals are amazing. I am such a big fan of Dolce Vita shoes, I have 3 pairs. :)

I think my breton striped shirt is one of my favorite items because I am instantly put together whether I pair it with jeans, shorts or a skirt and its virtually seasonless! :)

Aw, your shirt is so cute!! I love it!! I want one like it. Poo! Why is it so hard to find the perfect casual top like this? Hehe :)

my favorite piece...my white simple casual dress! I wear it in the summer with cowboy boots and in the winter with cardigans and tights!

I love how you've got the top tucked in at the front.

Love the outfit! I'm a huge fan of Native American-inspired jewelry as well, it always adds character to any outfit. You've got a great blog going here, one of my new favorites! :)

My hair is the exact opposite - it isn't red (really, i swear), but in strong sunlight, it photographs reddish!

I love the native American jewelery too. I was born in Arizona and my grandparents lived out there for years so I think that my admiration for southwestern style comes from that.
